Inter-Governmental Relations Between Central Government And Local Government Authorities In Tanzania

Tanzania in embarking the decentralization by devolution policy (D D) as a mechanism of facilitating quick development process through involvement people from grass root levels has been carried out inter-government relations between central government and local authorities (LGAs). Throughout its implementation there had supportive structural set up, including constitutional mandate for governments. Also, an increased recognition LGAs sector ministries partners rather than subordinate structures. However, lack clear effective institutional framework to govern D shared understanding across other governmental institutions made led confusion Central Local Government Authorities. Thus, this paper explores undertakings (LGAs) order forge way forward inclusive responsive governance country.
